About Cybernetica

TIVI was designed as a governmental-grade online voting platform built on proven research, operational experience, and verifiable cryptography.

It is the product of an Estonia-based multidisciplinary research and development centre established in 2014 to advance secure, transparent and scalable online voting solutions for real-world elections.

From its inception, TIVI has been engineered around robust verification and security principles that safeguard voter privacy, protect ballot integrity and ensure confidence in the electoral process. By combining advanced cryptographic methodologies with rigorous operational controls, TIVI ensures that votes are cast as intended, stored as cast, and counted as cast. Today, it stands at the vanguard of online voting security and verification.

The platform has been deployed in electoral contexts in the United States, Norway, Chile, Benin, among others, supporting governmental, professional and private elections.

TIVI builds on the experience of its founding partners: Smartmatic, a global provider of election technologies, and Cybernetica, the Estonian cybersecurity lab that developed the Estonia’s successful national Internet voting system.
